Chroma Vector brings together the work of artists Nuha Saad and Pollyxenia Joannou in an exploration of colour, geometry and spatial experience. Through painting and sculpture, the artists examine abstraction as a means of exploring memory, place and perception, revealing the ways in which form can communicate both personal and collective experience.
Nuha Saad’s new works, collectively titled Patterns of Place consider memory as something both held and continually slipping away. Combining architectural ornament, geometry and colour, the works draw on the language of the domestic interior, spaces shaped by repetition, ritual, and the accumulation of lived experience.
